At some point in time we all can feel our lives have become out of control, that we have lost our sense of direction. This can lead to feelings of loss, anger, anxiety, helplessness, loneliness and pain.
I have a wide range of experience working with people from a different cultural and social backgrounds presenting diverse issues including mental health, disabilities, women who experienced domestic violence, multiple traumas, relationship breakdowns, substance misuse, homelessness, loss and grief, loneliness, isolation, and Pain (physical and emotional). I have specialised in a multi-cultural and inclusive therapy, domestic violence, trauma informed therapy, couples and relationships, anxiety and depression.
Training, qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling
- UKCP Accredited psychotherapist and I have listed on on the UKCP register
- UPCA accredited psychotherapist
- Post graduate Diploma level 7 in Integrative clinical supervision (individual and group)
- Couple/ Relationship Therapy Certificate. Qualified in working therapeutically with couples and other relationships.
- Certificate in Compassion Focused Therapy/ CFT.
- Graduate member of BPS (British Psychological Society).
- BSC (Hons), degree in psychology
