The Grove is really proud of all the fantastic reviews we’ve gathered from professionals who have attended our courses. The voices of our customers are very powerful. We are grateful for all the valuable feedback. You can search and read these genuine comments below.
Each one is from someone who has taken one or more courses with us. Each testimonial is featured with permission from the student. Their motivation is not only to thank us (which is lovely to hear) but also to encourage others toward a similar positive experience.
It has seriously been phenomenal!

Adetoun 2021 traumaI recently completed the Diploma in Trauma Therapy at The Grove Practice, and I wanted to thank you again for the quality of the training and supervision—it has had a lasting impact on my clinical work.
So glad I have completed this training. So very helpful and transformative for me personally and my clients. So much to implement and I feel it’ll take a while to full absorb all that has been provided (again!)

Cath 2025 supervisionThank you Chris and tutors, this is wonderful news and I feel privileged to have been able to take part in the course. This has been a transformative growth experience for me, both from a learning, professional perspective as well as a human perspective, with the opportunity to meet intelligent, caring and benevolent human beings.I hope to have the opportunity to join another course at some point in the future.Again a heartfelt thank you.
I’ve attended The Grove’s occasional free webinar talks with practitioners specialising in energy healing and the wilds of nature in their therapy practice. The Grove’s provision of free webinars are a great way of boosting knowledge and collecting CPD hours for practitioners with a limited training budget.
Good CPD, in my experience, contributes to self care as well as knowledge building – I have left every Grove webinar attended so far feeling restored and reconnected.
I also appreciate that the people at the Grove are unafraid of the more subtle and transpersonal elements aspect of our profession and will dive into topics such as energy work without compromising on rigour, which has helpfully steadied my own doubts about maintaining credibility while bringing a variety of different types of practice into my work.
Sally 2025 webinars
The Grove’s CPD conference 2025 was a solid session of informative and topical presentations and discussions.
My knowledge on the areas covered – intimacy and relationships, trauma therapy and supporting clients with ADHD – was affirmed and expanded by the talks, and there was an excellent exchange of support and information among online attendees in the chat facility. I’d have no hesitation in attending any training the Grove offered.
The presenters – all Grove directors – shared their knowledge with warmth and professionalism, and did a smooth job of holding group discussion with online and in-person attendants.
I’m already on the lookout for next year’s event!

Claire 2024 traumaI really appreciate the course and I am always referring back to the reading and resources.
I have enjoyed the course very much and consider it a privilege to have had so many knowledgeable specialist tutors, not least yourself Sarah. I look forward to being able to practice as a supervisor, using the knowledge that I have gained.

Sophia 2025 traumaThank you so much for the opportunity to enrol in and complete the Trauma Course. It has been incredibly valuable for my work, both as a trainee counsellor in IAPT and in my NHS practitioner role, which has even led to a promotion. I’ve taken so much from the teaching, peers, and supervision. It has really confirmed how much I want to continue developing towards becoming a trauma therapist. So thank you again for creating such a meaningful learning experience.
Success stories are individual stories. Each attendee will bring to the course their lived experience and positionality.
So we are very pleased to see diversity in every cohort, which enriches the learning experience for everyone. Working with difference is intrinsic to the way we run our courses.
We have welcomed learners who let us know about dyslexia or ADHD or hearing loss or that they will attend the course with their guide dog.
We circulate course materials in advance of each teaching date, to enable each participant to familiarise themselves according to their own learning style.
These are some of the practical things we can do to support engagement in their course learning. Yet there is always more work to do in supporting inclusivity – and we are open to hearing from each student about their educational needs.
Our commitment to inclusivity is enshrined in The Grove’s Diversity and Respect Statement.
