I’m Jayne, a trauma-informed psychotherapist and counsellor with over 15 years’ clinical experience working in the NHS, the charity sector and private practice.
I help uncover the layers holding you together, enabling you to learn the shadows of the past and understand yourself and thrive.
I work with clients of all ages, especially Gen Z and Millennials in their twenties and thirties. Life can be hard to navigate at this age, and it’s easy to feel as if you’re getting it wrong. If you’re suffering with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or the after-effects of trauma, that adds more layers of difficulty.
If you’re finding yourself blowing up at people, fearful and in tears, or just plain numb, there’s a reason behind all that, and a solution too. I’m here to help you find what it is. My approach is seeing the whole of a person, not just a list of problems.
With me, you get to explore and accept your real, authentic self. You’ll learn how to take control of what’s happened to you in the past, so it’s no longer in charge of you.
My qualifications and training include: Trauma Training at The Grove, MA Transpersonal Counselling & Psychotherapy, and BSc. (Hons) Psychology.
