Practitioner Statement

I am a:

  • Member of BACP and UKCP
  • Integrative relational counsellor with a Transactional Analysis background
  • Trauma-informed practitioner with additional experience in ADHD coaching
  • Specialist in perinatal issues, including infertility, baby loss and birth trauma

I use Poly vagal theory to inform my clinical practice and work using the body; incorporating breath-work and nervous system regulation techniques to help support the client. I believe in looking at the whole person, not just the mind, in order to get a deeper understanding of the individual’s experience of life.

I have a certificate in supporting adults with ADHD. I have a particular interest in all the connected issues that are often associated with neurodivergence, such as MCAS issues, POTS, EDS, and consider that a useful component of discussion/exploration when working with a neurodivergent client.
