Genevieve is a BACP-registered integrative psychotherapist based in Kendal, South Cumbria, offering counselling both in person and online. She works with individuals aged 11 and over, supporting a wide range of mild to moderate mental health challenges. Her approach is trauma-informed and collaborative, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to adapt therapy to each person’s individual needs.
Genevieve has experience supporting neurodiverse clients, including those with ADHD, and aims to create an inclusive and accessible therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences at their own pace. She offers both open-ended therapy, allowing space for deeper exploration, as well as short-term work for more immediate concerns.
Alongside general psychotherapy, Genevieve holds a Level 5 Certificate in Psychosexual Therapy (CORST) and offers specialist support for women and those assigned female at birth, providing a safe, non-judgmental space to explore concerns around intimacy, sexual functioning, desire, and the impact of past experiences.
In addition to her therapy practice, Genevieve facilitates a collaborative space for therapists, hosting workshops and professional development opportunities that support wellbeing and reflective practice.
Her work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each client’s unique story.
