As an integrative psychotherapist, l use different approaches- predominantly psychodynamic, body based and person-centered, meaning that you are the source of knowledge for what we are exploring, and that our work is informed by your early life experiences and relationships, and what meaning you made of them, as well as your embodied experience right here right now. I am a relational therapist, so I also bring my experience of what it’s like to relate to you into our exploration. I tend to work with people with varied, often mixed, cultures and backgrounds; people who sometimes feel they don’t quite belong. We can explore a range of issues, such as: stress, anxiety and overwhelm, lack of meaning and purpose, emptiness and depression, abuse, difficulties with sex, intimacy and relationships, family conflict, shame, loss, questions to do with identity, sexuality and behaviour, among others.
