Wednesday May 6th 2026
5pm UK time / 7pm Israel time (1hr)
This webinar examines groundbreaking trauma concepts that have emerged from NATAL’s experience following October 7th, offering critical insights for mental health professionals worldwide working in crisis environments.
The presentation explores shared traumatic reality, where entire communities experience trauma simultaneously; rolling trauma involving continuous, cascading events that prevent traditional recovery; ongoing and collective trauma that affects healing processes under persistent threats; post-traumatic growth emerging from rolling trauma experiences, where individuals and communities develop new strengths and meaning-making capacities amid ongoing adversity; and secondary and vicarious trauma experienced by mental health professionals themselves.
Learn about NATAL’s practical frameworks for adapting therapeutic approaches in complex trauma scenarios, supporting clients and colleagues during extended periods of collective stress, fostering resilience and growth even within continuing crisis contexts, and building sustainable coping strategies in uncertain times. Essential insights for clinicians working with communities affected by violence, rise in antisemitism, natural disasters, and other ongoing crises.
