Have you ever felt there’s something wrong with you? That you’re different, too much, not enough? With ADHD, that sense of being defective often runs deeper than the symptoms themselves. Shame quietly shapes how we live, love and limit ourselves.
I’m Sandra, a BACP-accredited Gestalt psychotherapist at the Gestalt Centre in London, also working online across the UK. I trained in ADHD with The Grove, and I bring in Inner Child Work, somatic approaches and my own method, Emotional Wounds Enquiry.
Trauma lives in the nervous system. It shapes how we react, connect and protect ourselves, often long after the danger has passed. Together we explore your inner map with curiosity rather than judgement, so you can feel safe in your body and more at home in yourself.
I also work with couples. Each partner brings their own brain and their own history, and when these collide, misunderstandings and disconnection follow. I help couples understand what’s really happening between them and find their way back to each other.
My background spans child development, nutrition, trauma mentoring and addiction counselling, with further training in trauma and the ADHD gut-brain connection. I’ve given a TEDx talk.
You are not broken. Let’s begin.
