The Grove is really proud of all the fantastic reviews we’ve gathered from professionals who have attended our courses. The voices of our customers are very powerful. We are grateful for all the valuable feedback. You can search and read these genuine comments below.
Each one is from someone who has taken one or more courses with us. Each testimonial is featured with permission from the student. Their motivation is not only to thank us (which is lovely to hear) but also to encourage others toward a similar positive experience.
I have become braver in taking risks , inviting clients to move and shift / invite and change what they are feeling. It’s a great addition to the other Grove courses (all excellent) which can have a lot of intellectual rigour. This allows all that learning to find a place in the body. Thank you.

I have learnt more to use my intuition and felt sense to mirror the client and locate the main area of pain. I have introduced some of the practices with clients and it has opened up a new area of working therapeutically.

I found The Grove a very solid organisation to work with. I was very tempted by your relationship/couples training with Eliott and Sarah, after completing the supervision course.
Siân 2023 supervision course
The course has been really helpful, it’s afforded me the opportunity to study with a variety of great tutors, I feel like I’ve learnt so much in the process. The support throughout from The Grove has been great and I’m grateful to have met so many other counsellors, some of whom have become friends. In short, I’m very glad I chose The Grove. I feel my practice as a therapist and supervisor has benefitted immensely.

My thanks go to Sarah and Elliot and all the superb speakers we’ve all had the honour of learning from. Every weekend has been a learning curve where I have gained in-depth knowledge and understanding (and a surprising confidence that I wasn’t aware of before), with how to apply all the wonderfully rich resources when guiding my clients through their trauma recovery process.

Hannah 2023 trauma courseI would like to say thank you to you all for a really incredible trauma course; the content, the delivery, the guest teachers and, of course, yourself, Sarah, and Elliot. You’ve both been amazing teachers; kind, funny and supportive the whole way through and I know we’ve all learnt so much from you both. I really couldn’t have picked a better course to meet my needs as a trauma therapist.
Deborah 2022 couple/relationship courseI enjoyed the training and would thoroughly recommend it to others who are looking for comprehensive, non-judgemental, helpful and knowledgeable trainers. I’ve done a lot of CPD over the years and it’s not always of the best calibre, so it was great to be able to learn lots of new things as well as revisiting more familiar topics.
I’m loving the course, it’s such a joy to be learning things that are so helpful to my practice and also working with such a supportive group of people.
Lisa 2023 trauma course
I am delighted to say that the supervision course has changed the way I conceptualise therapeutic interventions and I have embarked on a psychotherapist course (CAT), and I feel very excited for the future.

Joylette 2022 trauma courseThank you so much for an amazing course; I have thoroughly enjoyed it and feel equipped to help those struggling with trauma.
I just wanted to thank you and your team for a memorable event. The venue and the ambience were amazing. It was also lovely to meet you all in person.
Romy Supervision course 2022
Success stories are individual stories. Each attendee will bring to the course their lived experience and positionality.
So we are very pleased to see diversity in every cohort, which enriches the learning experience for everyone. Working with difference is intrinsic to the way we run our courses.
We have welcomed learners who let us know about dyslexia or ADHD or hearing loss or that they will attend the course with their guide dog.
We circulate course materials in advance of each teaching date, to enable each participant to familiarise themselves according to their own learning style.
These are some of the practical things we can do to support engagement in their course learning. Yet there is always more work to do in supporting inclusivity – and we are open to hearing from each student about their educational needs.
Our commitment to inclusivity is enshrined in The Grove’s Diversity and Respect Statement.
