The Grove is really proud of all the fantastic reviews we’ve gathered from professionals who have attended our courses. The voices of our customers are very powerful. We are grateful for all the valuable feedback. You can search and read these genuine comments below.

Each one is from someone who has taken one or more courses with us. Each testimonial is featured with permission from the student. Their motivation is not only to thank us (which is lovely to hear) but also to encourage others toward a similar positive experience.

It is both safe and challenging in terms of the suggested exercises the course contains, with always the option to not take part.  I would add that for anyone asexual or transgender (and of course, anyone LGBTQI) it would be a safe, inclusive and welcoming place to train. It is amazing how much can be covered in such a short amount of time.  I would say this course is well worth the money on all levels.

SJ 2023 psychosexual course

The Psychosexual training has met my needs and beyond.  It has been packed full of useful information, thoughtful handouts which cover everything and a booklist that is diverse and contains vital reads for all therapists.  It is amazing how much can be covered in such a short amount of time. This course is a valuable emotional, professional and financial investment.

Abigail 2023 couple/relationship course

Thank you again for your support with Supervision diploma course, I love it!

Sinthia 2023 supervision course

There have been a lot of changes for me this year throughout the course which has meant things have been a little more difficult than usual. But this opportunity has been amazing to allow my career progression to deeper and has allowed me to start private clinical supervision, so thank you.

Phillippa 2023 supervision course

I enjoyed everything about this course. The focus on our own self-care as therapists was very welcome and all of it was applicable to clients. The reminders from you both, that if we ground and nourish ourselves deeply, our clients will feel this energy in the room.

Student 2023 embodiment course

This course truly embodied a treat – a pathway for the therapist to move from the intellectual rigour of the ‘why’ through to ‘how’ and then in the residential to a holistic and gentle practice of just being.

Hannah 2023 embodiment course

The Solo-Soma was very interesting, and this helped me enormously as I was recovering from major health issues. The course has such a wide range of topics and they all flow into the personal life or the client’s work. The course was very informative in drawing on the other factors that can impact emotional regulation. The slides were of top quality, relevant and succinct.

Student 2022 Regulate course

I have more awareness and tools to blend into my own life or to impart knowledge to clients which I did on various occasions during the course modules. I have started exploring the polyvagal as I become more fluent and notice more of the holistic world of my clients.

Student 2022 Regulate course

The course has a very practical application and some clients have responded well and are applying/enjoying what they’ve learned about themselves and managing their own emotional regulation better.

Student 2022 Regulate course

I know that I want to bring more embodied practice into my client work and I feel I trust enough to know who and when this will be helpful with.

Success stories are individual stories. Each attendee will bring to the course their lived experience and positionality.

So we are very pleased to see diversity in every cohort, which enriches the learning experience for everyone. Working with difference is intrinsic to the way we run our courses.

We have welcomed learners who let us know about dyslexia or ADHD or hearing loss or that they will attend the course with their guide dog.

We circulate course materials in advance of each teaching date, to enable each participant to familiarise themselves according to their own learning style.

These are some of the practical things we can do to support engagement in their course learning. Yet there is always more work to do in supporting inclusivity – and we are open to hearing from each student about their educational needs.

Our commitment to inclusivity is enshrined in The Grove’s Diversity and Respect Statement.
