Elliot Davis

Director

Elliot Davis is a UKCP-registered psychotherapist and certified trauma therapist who has extensive experience of relationship therapy, particularly in private practice.

Since gaining a Certificate in Couple/Relationship therapy, this consolidated his natural flair for supporting people who are struggling in their relationship. His calm and supportive approach is a foundation for bringing more developmental understanding about emotional reactivity and survival strategies which people bring into their relational world. His trauma credentials are a solid grounding when supporting clients to manage conflict and deal with relational rupture resulting from cheating, affairs, addiction, or other problematic behaviours – seeing these ways of being as attempts at meeting unmet needs or survival strategies originating as stress responses.

Elliot is a talented writer and producer and tutor of courses for The Grove including the supervision training and trauma programme plus the creativity course.

He has a strong understanding of how to coach other practitioners in developing their confidence and competence. His approach is supportive and nurturing, with his sights set on heightening the professionalism and ethical stance of our profession.

Professional endorsements are peer endorsements from verified practitioners who have direct experience of someone’s clinical or professional work. They provide insight beyond qualifications alone, helping visitors understand how a practitioner shows up in practice – including their integrity, competence, and professional presence. All endorsements are checked and moderated by The Grove, are non-anonymous, and can only be given by practitioners. Client testimonials, star ratings, and promotional reviews are not permitted, ensuring endorsements remain ethical, considered, and trustworthy.
