Ashley Meyer

EFT Advanced Practitioner, EFT trainer

London-based Ashley Meyer is a practising psychotherapist, master EFT practitioner, trainer and supervisor. He is accredited by the UKCP, EFT International and the Guild of Energists. He holds an MA in Psychosynthesis psychotherapy from the Institute of Psychosynthesis London, EFT certification at master trainer level, and diplomas in Thought Field Therapy (TFT), hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and life coaching. Through his years of practise, Ashley has broadened his level of expertise in trainings with prominent teachers, such as Peter Levine (Somatic Experiencing), Bessel van der Kolk, Janina Fischer and Gabor Mate. These additional trainings have informed his work in the fields of trauma, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Anxiety-based and “mind-body” conditions, fields in which he has extensive experience.

Ashley works in private practice in London and online, and has supported a new charity – Support Veterans UK – in both a clinical and training capacity.

With training experience since 2004, Ashley teaches the EFT modules on our trauma training, bringing a wealth of clinical experience that bring his training of this revolutionary evidence-based technique to life.

For this trauma course, Ashley teaches EFT “tapping” according to the EFTI (Emotional Freedom Technique International) syllabus. Therapists who attend this part of The Grove’s trauma therapy course will be eligible to work towards accreditation with EFTI – which will be an additional cost and time commitment outside The Grove’s training provision, potentially supported by Ashley Meyer for supervision towards accreditation.
