I’m a BACP member with over 20 years’ experience as an integrative counsellor. Much of my work has been with unpaid carers. Consequently, I bring to supervision a clear understanding of complex relational dynamics, self-care challenges, managing stress and difficult emotions.

For me, supervision is a partnership that supports reflective practice and ongoing professional development, which I believe are essential for effective, ethical counselling.

What matters most to me is creating a space where you feel safe to explore your client work openly, reflect deeply, and develop insight while engaging with ethical considerations. My strengths-based approach is shaped by a background in management roles in communications, HR, and learning within a large organisation. I particularly enjoy working with trainees and newly qualified counsellors, supporting you to find your feet in professional practice.

I use Hawkins and Shohet’s seven-eyed model as my main framework, to help us explore your therapeutic practice from different perspectives, support self-awareness and skills development.
Supervision is collaborative, shaped around your professional requirements and stage of development, helping you build confidence and trust in your own practice. I aim to offer an experience that is warm, empathic, fair, and honest, with constructive feedback and respectful challenge when needed.

Professional endorsements are peer endorsements from verified practitioners who have direct experience of someone’s clinical or professional work. They provide insight beyond qualifications alone, helping visitors understand how a practitioner shows up in practice – including their integrity, competence, and professional presence. All endorsements are checked and moderated by The Grove, are non-anonymous, and can only be given by practitioners. Client testimonials, star ratings, and promotional reviews are not permitted, ensuring endorsements remain ethical, considered, and trustworthy.
