Every individual with ADHD has a unique ‘signature’ – a ADHD shapes not only attention and emotion, but also the inner mindset that governs motivation, confidence, and self-belief.
Many clients with ADHD carry deep narratives of failure or inadequacy that block their potential long after the symptoms are managed.
In this one-hour session, Dr James Kustow, Consultant Psychiatrist, and Robert Rees, Psychotherapist and Director of The Grove Practice, explore how mindset can either amplify or soften ADHD challenges.
They’ll discuss how clinicians and coaches can help clients:
Shift from self-criticism to self-understanding.
Recognise limiting beliefs formed through years of struggle.
Build a mindset of flexibility, resilience, and agency.
Use embodied and cognitive tools to support new patterns of attention and motivation.
This conversation bridges neuroscience, psychology, and lived experience, offering fresh, compassionate perspectives on what truly supports change in ADHD.
