I am a professionally qualified counsellor, certified NLP practitioner and a Registered Member of the BACP. I have also completed additional certifications from the Tavistock Relationships Centre, the Grove Practice and the National Centre for Eating Disorders. A full list of my training and qualifications can be found below.
My approach to counselling is integrative, drawing on a range of different therapeutic techniques, including person-centred therapy, Gestalt, neuro-linguistic programming, and life coaching. I vary my approach based on each client’s needs because the human mind is not one-size-fits-all. From my experience as a counsellor, I have learned that every client faces their own unique set of challenges and I believe taking a personalised approach is the best way to overcome these obstacles.
In my sessions, I strive to create a safe, judgement-free environment for you to explore your feelings and reach a deeper understanding of what may be concerning you. By guiding you on this journey of self-awareness, you will be able to recognise not just what you’re feeling, but also why it is you are feeling this way. From here, we can work together to build your resilience, improve your self-esteem and change your behaviour in a positive way.
