As a Retired Firefighter, Counsellor & Person, I believe the main thing that my clients like, is to simply be understood. I have a great deal of life experience, and it can be very difficult to find someone who understands what it’s like going through life’s trials. Especially when it comes to being in the services, having someone who has been exposed to similar situations & who just ‘gets it!’ can be a very rare & liberating experience. Accessibility is also important to my clients, not just in terms of physical access to my room, it’s also about simplicity of working online, I simply send a link in an email, we connect & that’s it.

My speciality is in Trauma Counselling. I offer my clients a safe, structured approach to helping them resolve issues such as PTSD. I use evidence based practices such as Trauma Focused-CBT, and other cognitive & somatic based therapies such as Emotional Freedom Technique. The important thing is that our work together is led by you & your preferences.
