Waterwynch House

We’ve put together a blend of location, accommodation, and facilitation which you just won’t find anywhere else! Rest assured we will enjoy exclusive use of this fabulous venue during our retreat.

Waterwynch House sits by the sea on the West coast of Wales. It is located near Tenby, outside the town and accessed by a private drive. So it is a quiet and relaxing venue.

The house has been lovingly refurbished to make the most of the picturesque setting and sea views with a terrace and gardens. There are 5 reception rooms, modern kitchen facilities, and 12 bedrooms all en-suite.

Creative spaces are in abundance. There’s a music room with electric guitars and a drum set, in addition to the musical and percussion instruments we’ll be bringing for the retreat. There is a large airy art room stocked with paints and materials. Another sitting room houses a grand piano. There’s also a yoga room with therapy tables where we can stretch out to experience creativity for body and movement – such as the chance to try out tuning fork therapy. Spaces like the hall and mezzanine, as well as the large bedrooms, provide places for creative writing and journaling.

There are two immaculate modern kitchens and a large bright dining room with loads of seating. Our meals will be taken looking out over the sea. Tasty lunches and dinners will be professionally provided by our catering team from lunch on Friday. Breakfast on Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be self-serve in a buffet style. So you’ll be well catered-for all the way through the retreat. Unlimited tea, coffee, water, and fruit will be provided during your stay. Please bring along any alcohol or other drinks and snacks to suit your needs or palate.

The venue is exclusively for The Grove’s retreat, so we will have a dedicated and focused time for creative experimentation.

Don’t worry, free wifi is connected throughout the property (can’t live without it!!??).

There’s plenty of parking onsite and it’s easy to reach by car from the M4.

A utility room is on hand with washing machine and tumble dryer just in case you need them.

All food and accommodation and materials are included in the fee. If advised in advance of the retreat, we will happily cater for dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free.

There’s plenty of space inside the house, with a large glass-walled conservatory looking out over the sea. There’s a snug for watching films or TV, a bar area and billiard room. So everyone can find space to chill out or socialise.
