Robin Shohet

Robin Shohet is one of the most influential figures in the field of psychotherapy supervision and the co-originator of the Seven-Eyed Model, now widely regarded as a foundational framework for supervisory practice internationally. The model has shaped how generations of supervisors understand relational, organisational, and systemic dynamics within supervision.

Robin has been supervising for over fifty years and has authored and edited numerous seminal texts on supervision and psychotherapy. His most recent publication, Supervision as Spiritual Practice, is an edited volume featuring chapters written by graduates of a supervision diploma, reflecting his long-standing commitment to learning communities and reflective practice.
Alongside his clinical and supervisory work, Robin draws on a wide range of influences. He is a long-term student of A Course in Miracles and integrates insights from non-duality, Buddhism, and improvisation drama into his teaching and practice. These perspectives inform a supervisory stance that is spacious, relational, and deeply attentive to presence, meaning, and consciousness.
