I am an BACP-registered integrative counsellor, which means that I draw on tools and ideas from a wide variety of therapeutic styles. Therefore, I am able to tailor our work together to meet your unique needs and requirements. My way of working draws on my own lived experience, a robust and trauma-focused therapeutic framework, and a wide-ranging breadth of experience with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. I have significant experience working with complex trauma, neurodiversity, and personality disorders in both young people and adults, and significant experience working with race and gender.
I have years of specific experience working with ADHD and autism, as well as complex psychological conditions like borderline personality disorder, complex PTSD, and dissociative identity disorder. I have worked extensively with people who have found it difficult to access support via other means, such as sex workers, people with chronic health conditions, and people from the transgender community.
I identify as a neurodiverse transgender woman and would strongly encourage you to contact me if you would feel more comfortable working with someone with lived experience of these issues, especially if you have found it difficult to locate a therapist who meets your specific needs in the past.
