I am a qualified and experienced counsellor (she/her), registered with Creative Counsellors and the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
My journey began with person-centred training, emphasizing a non-judgemental and non-directive approach. I don’t give advice but provide a therapeutic space where you can explore your own answers. My goal is to help clients understand themselves, build resilience, and live more fulfilling lives.
I welcome people of all genders, sexualities, faiths, and backgrounds, encouraging them to bring their whole selves into therapy. I continually develop my approach to offer diverse and tailored support. Additional training in creative and walk-and-talk counselling allows me to integrate the arts and the outdoors into my practice.
I have experience as a recovery counsellor at Changing Lives, Oaktrees in York, supporting individuals in abstinence-based treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. My voluntary work includes York Women’s Counselling and Serendipity, providing low-cost support to those struggling to access services.
My practice is rooted in empathy, inclusivity, and a deep commitment to empowering clients on their journey of self-discovery and healing.
