Florence House

Florence House sits by the sea at the top of Seaford Head on the edge of the South Downs between Brighton and Eastbourne in East Sussex (postcode BN25 4JS). The house is surrounded by lush landscapes and sea breezes.  It is truly a haven tucked away while waiting to be found.  It’s a much-loved venue for life-enhancing workshops and retreats. In essence, it is a place of inspiration, of calm, that reveals the potential of each guest through the healing energy of the space.

The beautiful interior of the house itself, the abundant garden, with proximity to the sea and the wildness of the Downs, make Florence House an enviable location for exclusive retreats. In essence, it lovingly embraces divine inspiration, the good and meaningful things of life, the sacredness and potential of each individual and the healing power of the landscape in which it sits. The walled garden provides a peaceful place for meditation or inner reflection.

Meals are prepared by our in-house chef. All produce is locally sourced where possible, sometimes as local as the Florence House vegetable garden.

Included in the course fee: all accommodation, meals, unlimited tea & coffee & fruit, along with exclusive use of Florence House by The Grove’s group during our retreat.

There is plenty of onsite parking if you drive to the venue.
Trains to Seaford station are around 90 minutes from London Victoria or London Waterloo. Please check train times and travel details with the train operator before booking tickets.
Taxis are available from Seaford station to Florence House. It is wise to book ahead.
