Practitioner Statement

Whilst my work is informed by training in many modalities over 23 years of practice, I always use EFT/Acupoint Tapping for its gentleness, and because I can teach it to clients struggling with emotional and nervous system regulation, giving them ongoing self-support beyond our sessions. Clients can choose fewer sessions with more self-application, more extended support with me, or a combination to suit their needs and budget.

I specialise in using EFT with highly sensitive clients with dysregulated nervous systems, often stuck on high alert, including those affected by trauma, including complex and developmental trauma and its longer-term effects, chronic fatigue, long-term or autoimmune conditions, ADHD and the Somatic Super Syndrome described by Dr James Kustow at The Grove Practice.

Since joining The Holistic Psychiatry Clinic, I also support patients whose nervous systems have become dysregulated through multiple stressors, including the effects of psychiatric medications and their withdrawal. Working alongside the clinic’s psychiatrists, I use EFT to support people reducing or stabilising medication and coping with sometimes difficult withdrawal effects, including Antidepressant Discontinuation Syndrome and Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (PAWS), which can significantly affect everyday functioning.
