My supervisory philosophy is rooted in authenticity and collaborative partnership, providing a reflective space centred on your goals to help you navigate your practice with skill, groundedness and confidence. My framework is the 7-Eyed Model as it allows us to look at the work from different lenses.
I invite you to bring all aspects of your practice to supervision.
Together, we can discuss specific clinical cases and theoretical questions, as well as your growth as a practitioner and your wellbeing, ensuring you are supported and sustained in your work. We can also explore the multilevel dynamics emerging, whether they are happening within the client, within you, or in the relationship between you. My approach is congruent, attuned and containing, balancing clinical rigour with relational depth.
I am curious about how felt sense and somatic responses inform our understanding of client material, as embodiment is often our most authentic guide.
I am an experienced, BACP-accredited psychotherapist with an MA in Counselling & Psychotherapy. I work integratively, amongst others, psychodynamic, existential and humanistic modalities. I have additional training in trauma, suicide prevention, focusing and other somatic practices, and specialise in mindbody approaches to chronic pain and chronic illness (SIRPA practitioner, additionally trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy).
I have a thriving private practice and can support you to build yours. I have also worked as a therapist in a wellbeing practice and with a charitable organisation, so I understand the pressures that can arise in organisational settings.
