Event overview:

Experiencing EFT: Live Demonstration and Clinical Applications

Date: Tuesday, 5th May
Time: 6:30–7:45 pm (GMT)
Location: Live on Zoom

This experiential session, facilitated by psychotherapist and master EFT trainer Ashley Meyer, Robert Rees and Dr James Kustow, offers a unique opportunity to see Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) in action through a live demonstration with a real client.

At the heart of the event is a 30-minute EFT session, offering a direct window into the moment-to-moment process of working with emotion, relational patterns and somatic presentations. Rather than a purely theoretical introduction, this session is designed to help you feel and understand the method as it unfolds in real time.

Following the demonstration, there will be space to:

  • Reflect on what took place in the session
  • Explore key clinical interventions and decision-making
  • Consider the range of applications of EFT across therapeutic contexts
  • Ask questions and deepen your understanding of the model

EFT is a versatile and evidence-based approach, widely used in:

  • Individual psychotherapy
    * Stress, anxiety and depression
  • Trauma-informed work
  • Couples and relationship therapy
  • Phobia and physical pain presentations
  • Addiction work
  • Neurodivergent presentations

This event is suitable for therapists, trainees, and practitioners interested in developing a more embodied and relational way of working with clients.

For those wishing to deepen their learning, The Grove offers formal training in EFT through our Level 1 and Level 2 programmes commencing in Spring, providing a structured pathway into this powerful and clinically grounded approach.
