Introducing Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) with Ashley Meyer and Robert Rees

Date: Tuesday, 10th February
Time: 6:30–7:30 pm (GMT)
Location: Live on Zoom

Join therapist and EFT master trainer Ashley Meyer for an illuminating introduction to Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) — a simple yet powerful method that combines elements of cognitive therapy and acupressure to help clients release emotional distress and restore balance to the nervous system.

EFT, often known as ‘tapping’, has gained international recognition as a gentle, effective approach for working with anxiety, trauma, phobias, pain, and self-limiting beliefs. By stimulating specific meridian points while focusing on difficult emotions or memories, EFT helps calm the body’s stress response and create lasting emotional shifts.

In this one-hour live session, Ashley will:

  • Explain the principles and science behind EFT
  • Demonstrate the tapping sequence and how to apply it safely in therapy
  • Explore how EFT can integrate with existing therapeutic approaches
  • Offer practical examples and invite reflection on clinical use
  • Discuss the EFT Level 1&2 programme at The Grove.

This event is ideal for psychotherapists, counsellors, coaches, and other mental health professionals interested in adding a somatic and energy-based dimension to their work.

There will also be time for Q&A, giving you an opportunity to ask questions and consider how EFT might enhance your practice. To go deeper and explore this fascinating technique please visit our EFT Level 1 & 2 course webpage.

Join us on 10th February at 6:30 pm for an experiential introduction to this accessible, evidence-informed technique for emotional healing and regulation.
