If menopause symptoms are miserable, it's even worse if you feel unsure what help is out there. Sarah Briggs, one of The Grove's directors, is hosting this monthly support group run by Mentrix. In her role as sex & relationship therapist, she hears many people talk about how menopause affects their body, or confidence at work and in relationships. This support group helps fix that.
Menopause can be tough. Miserable symptoms affecting you and the people around you can be even tougher.
Especially if you’re getting hot and wet (but not in a good way!) with hot flushes or night sweats. Emotional ups and downs, sleep disturbance, brain fog, loss of sex drive, painful joints, weight gain and belly fat are just some of the symptoms that get people down.
Even if you’re having a miserable time, help and support are available. Our mission at Mentrix is to make menopause misery a thing of the past. One way we’re doing this is by hosting a free monthly support call for people affected by menopause.
You may be a spouse or partner of someone going through this. You’re confused about their up and down feelings, emotions and behaviour. Feeling awkward or uncomfortable about it, you want to know how to approach them and offer your love and support but concerned about how they may react. They might be prickly or irritable or feeling very low.
Maybe you’re a friend, relation or colleague of someone experiencing debilitating symptoms of peri-menopause or menopause. You want to understand more to be able to support them better.
You are all very welcome to join Sarah and Karen who will respond to your questions. We often do this by covering a few basics about what’s going on with menopause before signposting you with tips, tools and techniques to shift things in a beneficial way.
The webinar is being run by Mentrix, hosted by Sarah Briggs and her sister, Karen Briggs.
Each of the hosts is a certified menopause coach with a wealth of knowledge based on what loads of people have told us about menopause misery.
A great chance for you to ask us about anything that’s troubling you about menopause or things that you’re finding difficult. You can tap into our knowledge for free. The wisdom and experiences of the group could also give you helpful ideas.
