If menopause is miserable, it's even worse if your relationship derails and your sex life withers. Sarah Briggs, one of The Grove's directors, is hosting this webinar being run by Mentrix. In her role as sex & relationship therapist, she hears many people talk about how menopause affects their closeness with partners or family.
Menopause can be tough. Menopause affecting your couple relationship or family can be even tougher.
Especially if you’re getting hot and wet (but not in a good way!) with hot flushes or night sweats. You’re having a miserable time and your partner can get the hump if they feel like you’re pulling away. Really unhelpful if you’re already feeling lost and unhappy through menopause.
You may be a spouse or partner of someone going through this. You’re confused about their up and down feelings, emotions and behaviour. Feeling awkward or uncomfortable about it, you want to know how to approach them and offer your love and support but concerned about how they may react. They might be prickly or irritable or feeling very low.
Maybe you’re a friend, relation or colleague of someone experiencing debilitating symptoms of peri-menopause or menopause. You want to understand more to be able to support them better.
You are all very welcome to join Sarah and Karen who will cover a few basics about what’s going on with menopause and help you with tips, tools and techniques to do just that.
The webinar is being run by Mentrix, hosted by Sarah Briggs and her sister, Karen Briggs.
Our guest speaker is Joanne Posey, a qualified nutritionist who is experienced in helping women tackle menopause symptoms through diet alone.
A great chance for you to ask a nutritionist what might work for you.
